The company just completed a contract for the quarrying operations for NCC Phoenix on their quarry at Km215 on the Lusaka Mongu road. Responsibilities included overburden clearing, drilling and blasting as well as loading and hauling the shot rock to the crushing plant on site. After the crushing operation, all products are stockpiled accordingly. Production quantities are on average 1500 tonnes per day for the various aggregate sizes and the whole contract was completed in half the original time.In addition to the above, the company operates a quarry in the Makeni area of Lusaka and supply aggregates and building materials for the construction industry in the area.The ready mixed concrete operation is the biggest in Lusaka and has been involved in the biggest and most prominent projects. The high capacity coupled with flexibility in supply and in mix designs make it the popular choice for all types of projects undertaken around the area. In December 2005, our Portland cement factory was commissioned. Production of 'AMAKA' brand Portland cement commenced and has reached full capacity of 100 TPD.

The company operates a copper mine in the Chongwe area east of Lusaka. It is an open pit mine producing oxide copper ores which are sold for further processing to mining companies in Zambia. A team comprising a mining engineer, supervisors and technical staff is employed in the operation. All mining is carried out in accordance with mining regulations ruling in Zambia.
